Five things ESHRE 2026 revealed about the future of fertility branding.

Updated: 23 hours ago

Every year, ESHRE offers a fascinating snapshot of where fertility is heading.

New technologies. New partnerships. New research. New conversations.

But beyond the scientific progress, it also provides something equally valuable, an opportunity to observe how the industry presents itself.

After spending time across the exhibition floor this year, five themes stood out.

1. Innovation is accelerating. Differentiation isn’t.

Almost every organisation had an exciting story to tell.

Artificial intelligence. Automation. Genetics. Laboratory efficiency. Data.

The challenge wasn’t a lack of innovation. It was that many businesses were telling remarkably similar stories, making it increasingly difficult for visitors to remember who was who.

2. Scientific credibility is now the starting point.

Trust remains fundamental within fertility. But credibility has become an expectation rather than a competitive advantage.

The strongest brands assumed visitors already believed they were technically capable.

Instead, they focused on explaining why their approach, philosophy or perspective was different.

3. Simplicity is becoming more valuable.

Fertility is inherently complex.

The brands that communicated most effectively didn’t oversimplify the science. They simply made it easier to understand.

Clear messaging creates confidence. Complex messaging often creates hesitation.

4. People still connect with people.

Despite the increasing role of technology, the busiest conversations often happened where organisations allowed their people to shine.

Founders. Scientists. Clinicians. Researchers.

Real expertise presented with warmth continues to outperform polished corporate language.

5. The strongest brands felt coherent.

The best stands weren’t just visually attractive.

Everything worked together:

Messaging. Design. Photography. Tone of voice. Conversations. Digital content.

Every touchpoint reinforced the same story.

That level of consistency rarely happens by accident, but when organisations invest in defining what they stand for before deciding how they present themselves.

Looking beyond ESHRE

The exhibition only lasts a few days.

The impression your brand leaves lasts much longer.

Whether someone discovers your organisation through a friend, an exhibition stand, your website, LinkedIn or a recommendation from a colleague, every interaction should reinforce the same idea.

The organisations that will lead the next chapter of fertility won’t simply develop better products.

They’ll become easier to understand, easier to trust and far harder to forget.

What would your brand look like through an independent lens?

Walking the floor at ESHRE reinforced just how much innovation exists across fertility. It also highlighted how difficult it has become for organisations to communicate what genuinely makes them different.

That is exactly the challenge we helped The Evewell address, by developing a strategic brand platform that informed everything from messaging and tone of voice to digital experience, photography and visual identity.

If you’d like to see how those principles were applied in practice, explore our work with The Evewell.

Or, if you’d value an independent perspective on how your own brand is positioned within today’s fertility market, we’d be delighted to start a conversation.
