As a leading manufacturer of aesthetic and performance ceiling solutions, SAS International has long set the standard for innovation, design and sustainability in the built environment. Our challenge was to help the business articulate that leadership more clearly - internally and externally - while preparing the brand for future growth.

We conducted in-depth interviews with teams and customers, audited key sales and marketing activity and built a strong understanding of both the sector and SAS’s role within it. From these foundations, we developed a messaging platform that communicates the company’s rich heritage, distinct value and leading sustainability credentials.

Working closely with the HR team, we supported this messaging by shaping new internal communications and cultural initiatives, to better connect people to purpose.

Visually, we delivered a refreshed brand identity - one that honours the engineering excellence at the core of SAS, while moving the brand forward with clarity and confidence. This is being supported by a strategic audit and update of their already market-leading sustainability approach, ensuring the brand continues to lead on the issues that matter.

Our integration into SAS’s product development processes has further enhanced the role of brand across the business. Propellant has supported a stronger value proposition, a deeper connection between heritage and innovation and improved communications across functions.
